Pinot Noir

We craft our wines in the time-honoured Burgundian fashion, using small vat fermentation with indigenous yeast.

Hand plunging is carried out to achieve delicate extraction of colour and flavour from the skins, before at least 10 months maturation in French oak barriques. During this time it undergoes natural malolactic fermentation.

Very low cropping levels result in a fruit driven, concentrated wine with the lovely velvety texture which makes this variety so famous.

Tasting notes

Full, dark ruby-red colour with purple hues. The complex nose displays dark cherry, plum and floral characters. The palate is concentrated and powerful while remaining elegant. Dark red berry fruits are framed with an abundance of fine grained tannins.

Tasting notes

Lovely, deep, black-hued, ruby-red colour. Beautifully fragrant nose with bright, primary fruit, thyme-like herbs and floral allure. On the palate it’s powerful and impressively rich while remaining beautifully balanced and elegant.
